Malay Pit Honoured with “IBR Achiever” Title for Positive Barta’s Impact

Today marks a significant moment for Positive Barta, a platform dedicated to spreading optimism and positive news. In a grand ceremony at the Press Club, Kolkata, the India Book of Records (IBR) awarded Mr. Malay Pit, the visionary behind Positive Barta, with the “IBR Achiever” title for his outstanding contributions to media and society.

The award was formally handed over on 18th March by Justice Pranab Kumar Chatterjee, former Chairman of the State Law Commission, in the presence of distinguished guests, including KinshukPramanik (Secretary, Kolkata Press Club), Prof. Dr. SushantaBandyopadhyay (Former Director of Health Education), Shankar Mondal (President, Biswa Bangla Cable Network), Abbas Uddin (Secretary, All Bengal Private Nursing Homes And Hospitals Owners’ Association), and other eminent personalities.

Mr. Pit was first informed about this honour through an official letter dated 18th February 2025. Today’s formal felicitation acknowledges Positive Barta’s growing impact on shaping a hopeful and constructive media narrative.

We are proud to announce that Positive Barta, under the visionary leadership of Mr. Malay Pit, has been conferred with a prestigious recognition from the Asia Book of Records. The platform has been awarded for setting a new historic continental benchmark in the category of “Largest Social Empowerment Initiative Across Multiple Platforms by an Individual.”

This esteemed recognition will be presented during our upcoming National Awareness Program titled:

“Positive Barta: A Movement of Positivity and Empowerment”

The Journey of Positive Barta

Founded as a digital platform, Positive Barta was launched to counterbalance the negativity prevalent in mainstream media by focusing on hope, innovation, and community development. Initially broadcasting through Facebook and YouTube, the platform has expanded to cable networks, and plans are underway to launch a satellite platform next year.

Speaking at the event, Malay Pit expressed his gratitude, stating:

“This recognition increases our responsibility manifold. Human beings are inherently good, but societal influences often embed negative thinking. Through Positive Barta, we aim to revive and nurture optimism by highlighting constructive stories of change.”

A Vision for Positivity

Malay Pit emphasized the importance of engaging with children early on, stating:

“Children aged 3 to 13 must be exposed to positive narratives. If they grow up with optimism, they will become torchbearers of a better world. A society rooted in positivity will naturally create a safer and peaceful world.”

Today, Positive Barta collaborates with over 200 digital channels and journalists across West Bengal and Tripura, consistently delivering inspiring content.

A key initiative, the Call to Action (CTA) campaign, helps individuals and institutions gain strategic media coverage in areas such as:

This initiative not only spreads positivity but also creates economic opportunities for stakeholders.

Future Plans with AI & Global Expansion
